They weren’t lying when they said the little things mean the most.

Daily I come across thousands of
people
faces
names
stories.

Most I forget, but some stand out.

I met this woman today.
I don’t know her name or her story.

She was having a bad day, and I could tell just by her body language that her trip to Florida wasn’t one of the best and she was ready to head back home.

We exchanged simple conversation.

“Hi.” “How are you?” “Ready to go back home to the cold.”

Simple stuff.

As she was leaving I noticed she had a new purse. Not my style, but pretty neat none the less.

So I compliment her purse and simply say
“That purse you have is really cute.”

She stopped, looked down and noticed her purse. As soon as she did, her face lit up and she had such a big smile on.

I knew for that moment that I had made her day.

Amazing how far a little compliment can go….
Amazing how good it can feel when a stranger notices something small..

Compliment a stranger, you’d be amazed how much impact you can have on their day.
